Return of the King
Long time no see, everyone.
Apologies for my long absence. I’ve been taking a bit of a break from social media and writing due to my mental health. I was pushing myself really hard for a long time and was risking severe burnout if I continued, so I made the wise decision to step back for a bit and focus on other more important things. I’m happy to say that I’m ready to get back into things, I’m just taking it slow and making sure not to push myself as hard as I was before.
A lot has happened both in my absence and since my return as well that I felt important to talk about. First, my work on A Night of Knives has resumed and the book should still be out sometime in the second half of 2024, barring any delays.
I also have a couple of other exciting new projects in the works that I want to talk about. First is an upcoming fantasy anthology that I am working on with a group of talented authors from the BookTok community (for those who don’t know, that is the reading and writing community on TikTok). The theme for this anthology is “Blades for Hire” and also has a tentative release date in the second half of 2024. If you’re interested in participating, we still have some spots left, and you can sign up by clicking “Anthology Form” in the navigation bar at the top of the site (or in the menu, if you’re on mobile).
In addition to that, I’ve also applied to work with an up and coming independent publisher on their own anthology. This one is themed around dragons and I have a really unique story idea that I think readers will love, if I am accepted.
So if all goes well, I will have not one, not two, but three published works by the end of next year, and I couldn’t be more excited for all of you to join me on this amazing journey.
Now it’s time to get to work, but you’ll hear from me again soon.
